Some of my baby and maternity photos were featured on Mommyhood Revealed today (thanks Megan)!

I first met Megan in 2008 when her fiance Michael found me on Flickr and hired me to shoot his surprise proposal to Megan. It was the first time I shot a proposal, and I teared up throughout the proposal even though I didn’t know them. I met Michael only 30 minutes before Megan arrived, and understood pretty quickly how special she was, based on his descriptions of her personality and values. Little did I know she was also a knockout.

In 2009 they hired me to shoot their wedding (which happened to fall on the same date as our wedding anniversary! March 8th is a blessed day  Luckily Mario was my second-shooter so we still got to spend the day together. And what a day – really emotional and touching seeing how many people love these two.

And in 2010 I had the honor of being chosen to shoot Michael’s Air Force Officer Commissioning Ceremony. Isn’t Megan the cutest pregnant woman??

Unfortunately for me (but a blessing for them), Michael’s new job moved them to Washington D.C. last year. But I’m hoping that I can photograph their cute baby Kellyn some day…  He’s crazy cute. No, really. CRAZY. I love being FB friends with his parents, it gives me almost daily doses of this little looker.

Well I wasn’t planning on going on a trip down memory lane today, but looking at Megan’s blog post this morning just took me there  I’ll be back later today for Etsy Thursdays!
